Helming the kitchen at Colletta, executive chef Jason Stern brings with him over 24 years of experience within the culinary industry. From a young age, Stern knew that he wanted to pursue a career in hospitality and counts successful stints at many renowned Atlanta establishments among his professional accomplishments.
Originally from New York City, Stern relocated to Cumming, Ga. in 1993 to begin his culinary career, with his first venture including a position as sous chef at Le Vigne at Monteluce Winery. In 2014, Stern joined the team at MADE Kitchen & Cocktails in Alpharetta, Ga. as executive sous chef, then worked at Il Giallo Osteria before moving to Colletta in February 2016. With a strong background in Italian cuisine, Stern brings his unparalleled dedication and venerable skills to the kitchen and strives to create a superb experience for each diner at Colletta.
When he is away from the restaurant, Stern enjoys spending time with his family.
